Ultrasonic Failure Detector

Ultrasonic Inspection Method: This non-destructive testing (NDT) method uses high-frequency sound waves in the range of 0.2-25MHz to detect discontinuities in the sample to be tested. Here Hertz (Hz) is the unit of frequency and is equal to the number of vibrations per second. Ultrasonic Inspection is based on the principle of partial or complete reflection (echo) of the sound beam propagating within the material as a result of the change in acoustic impedance (the resistance of the material to sound propagation).
