Radiographic Inspection Method:This non-destructive testing (NDT) method uses penetrating (short wavelength) radiation. The radiation passing through the test sample is absorbed in different amounts due to density or thickness differences in the material. Radiation emitted from the opposite surface of the sample is usually recorded on radiographic film. The image recorded on the film is actually the visual image of the test material.
